Trip Details
Every year, the youth of Bridge Bible Church seek to minister in their local community, domestically across the United States, and internationally around the world. This year after much prayer, wise godly councle, and many conversations we are partnering with our local outreach partners right here in Muskegon!
We love our local missions trips as they make connections that can continue during the year as students seek to serve. God has called us to reach our Jerusalems and Judea’s first and that is what we seek to do! This time around we will be working with the Muskegon Rescue Mission, Step Up, Love INC, The Inspired Exhibit, and many more.
These outreach partners seek to meet people with the love of God in various ways. Some seek to meet physical and educational needs. Others seek to help house and provide needed resources for individuals and families to grow to a new level of independence. And even some of them seek to continue to help grow in the knowledge and trustworthiness of Scripture and the Gospel.
We will be partnering with these ministeries to do a variety of ministries. Some places need able bodies to do construction, maintenance, and cleaning. Others need help sorting, cataloging, and organizing. And there is even opportunity to be able to spend time with families and children running morning or afternoon programs. Wether we are coloring a page, building a craft, or sorting clothing we seek to make the Good News of Jesus Christ known in our community!
Serve Muskegon Partnerships
We need partners for this trip! While the team who will physically go to this trip is being finalized, that is not the end to the team who will impact the trip. Would you consider partnering with us for this trip? We have 2 specific ways you can partner with us.
1. Prayer
We believe this is the most important partnership possible. When people work, people work. But when people pray, God works. And that is a far better scenario! We would love for you to commit to pray for us in the weeks and months leading up to the Trip. Here are prayer requests you can bring to the Throne Room of the Almighty on our behalf.
Preceding the Trip
For prepared hearts of the team members and those we will minister with/to.
For God’s grace, favor, and direction to continue to be evident in this process.
For team unity as we prepare the details of the trip.
During the Trip
Life Change! We want to see our simple service change our community!
Safety, health, strength, courage, and protection.
Grace for the teams’ interactions.
Following the Trip
God will help our team to process the trip well.
That our local partners will continue to reach people with the Gospel of Christ.
That our team will use this as a launching point for daily missional living.
2. Financially
Unfortunately, every trip has expenses and we want to give you the opportunity to join us in that way if God has given you the capacity to do so. In order to cover the cost of travel, food and lodging, ministry materials, and activities, each team member needs to raise $400 to cover the expenses. If you would like to donate financially, outside of participating in the fundraisers below, you can give directly to the trip either online with the button bellow or by sending cash or check to Bridge Bible Church, Muskegon Service Trip, 5035 Henry St, Muskegon, MI, 49441. When details of each Fundraiser become available, each image will become a link to the next fundraiser. Our Team
Our team has just been formed! It is always exciting to see how God brings together the team He needs. Would you consider praying for our team as they come together? Many of these students are taking a step outside of their comfort zone. Over half of the students on our team have never been on a missions trip before. Be praying for our students and leaders for them to understand if God is in fact calling them to join this time of service. I look forward to watching God bring together strengths and weaknesses to produce a strong team because of who Christ is and what He did on the cross!
