Flourish - God’s Story p2
Scripture to Read: John 3:16-21 | Romans 5:6-8
From Genesis to Revelation, God has a plan! He created good, and He restored good. But that reversal has already started in the precious work of Jesus Christ! All things are being made new; we will see that one day if we follow Him! God is giving us an invitation to welcome us into that ultimate story, as He is the one who makes things new.
In our surrender, we see Him taking the broken, the bad, the evil things, and He is making them undone!

Scripture to Read: Matthew 16:13-24
It is said that a Christian faith, a biblical faith is personal but never private. If we are living out our faith, we cannot do it in a vacuum, and we cannot do it silently.
We see the importance of confession not just in our personal declaration but also in the ultimate confession of Christ contained in the Word of God. We do not get to pick and choose our Jesus. We do not get to pick and choose His Words. God said that ALL of His Words are true and accurate; God-breathed!
If we break our walk away from the Confession of God and we do not confess God, then we separate ourselves from the very power of God, and we are walking in the path of the enemy.
If you want to see the power of God being lived out in your walk, then you must hold true to the confession of God and confess with your mouth that HE is Lord. Only if we forfeit this world will we gain our soul in life!
