Abide - The Truth
Scripture to Read: John 15 | John 14:1-7 | Psalms 16:7-8
Truth is the only thing that fights the lie. We can try to use slogans or "pithy" sayings, but at the end of the day, only truth can stand unshaken.
God tells us that He is THE truth. When the evil of this world rises and begins to spread lies and propaganda, do we have the truth of God's Word keeping us from walking those lies? Just like Sophie stood up as a student and resisted the lies from her Nazi Germany, do we stand up because we remember Jesus?
Jesus' presence and our perseverance to abide with Him allow us to be unshakeable.
Abide - The Life
Scripture to Read: John 15 | John 14:1-7 | Psalms 16:1-4
Life is something everyone chases. This statement might sound weird to some as we are all "alive," right? But we pour thousands of dollars a year to feel alive, or dump our time into things chasing experiences, or run after so much to find our fulfillment.
God is telling us that the only way to find true life for eternity is in Him. But more than that He is also the way to find our fulfillment in our life as well.
In Him is the only life we ever need!
